About Queen Elizabeth National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda's most visited national park, and a UNESCI biosphere reserve. Spanning nearly 1,978 square kilometers of savanna, wetland, and forest. It straddles the equator and is renowned for its tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, the prolific wildlife along the Kazinga Channel, and over 600 bird species. The park offers game drives, boat cruises, chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge, and cultural encounters with local communities.
